<div style="text-align: justify;">
Hello, </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I've been busy making miniature flowers again. I've got so many little packages of petals, that probably I'll be making flowers up and into 2017 OMG! </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
This time I've made some miniature poppies in the shades of yellow and orange. These are not the usual poppies with the black centre, and I think that they look a bit more delicate compare to the latter. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Let me know what you think, and enjoy the rest of your week.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Hello, </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
It's been a long time, but rest assured that I haven't stopped creating. Just, I've been focusing on other DIY projects, and neglected my miniatures temporarily. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
I was browsing in a toys shop in Paris, and I've found these cute little ducks; I had to have them. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
I remembered that when I was a kid, and I used to play with doll houses, I had some very similar ducks. But somehow I lost them. I kept looking for them around the (full size) house for years and years, in case they had been misplaced, but I never found them. So I suppose these Parisian ducks ought to be mine, as a long due replacement for my childhood ones :)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
What do you think? Which one is your favourite?</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Enjoy a long creative weekend ahead!</div>

<br />
It's been such a long time, I know, I'm a bad, bad, bad blogger. But luckily I'm not a bad, bad, bad miniaturist! I've been working hard on my flower kits, and this is the result: a huge amount of geraniums, which I hope you'll like.<br />
I only have to decide where to put them and how to pot them. But this is another story...<br />
I'll leave you with some pictures of my miniature flowers. I hope it'll motivate you to create some wonderful minis this week.<br />

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So, after the flower shop, here is an update on the grocery shop. Well, really it's more like an epicerie in the french way, a fine boutique with delicatessen from the world.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The shop is developed on two floors, The bottom, where customers can go and purchase deli food, and the top, where ideally they can sit down and have a bite before continuing with their shopping.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEinw_BVWnOVKb_79UCn3827PK7j8UmgvVgcn4tJ8d0sAzhJra1lGmKQ3pJMQ_JRR-EgC7G3LMnT_valc7qKZVeFpsomrl3xqiF95i88ef76Kg_MO5h7CeTXlVGVChRw8_oADQj2HQvNYRvw/s1600/IMG_3518.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEinw_BVWnOVKb_79UCn3827PK7j8UmgvVgcn4tJ8d0sAzhJra1lGmKQ3pJMQ_JRR-EgC7G3LMnT_valc7qKZVeFpsomrl3xqiF95i88ef76Kg_MO5h7CeTXlVGVChRw8_oADQj2HQvNYRvw/s1600/IMG_3518.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
You can see a close up of the butcher's counter, with many meaty items made by...erm, sorry I can't remember who!, but not me as I'm not that patient when it comes to fimo sculpting :) The only items which I made myself are the eggs, the sausages, and the feathered bird on the right hand side. You can also notice in the background a selection of pickles, all hand made and bottled by me.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiB2kebECXshNOuzxarijwC4K5_dYIVZN_WW3oStLrGGuUcXSr2dEERwm7Cn1x8ChvUouRvwuelc0GsqDvfXg7mNJ0KAUszNhTasLBlTOhuYwHA-lVPMiZLSYEqzC8w-zGajt5yBNFFtVWn/s1600/IMG_3519.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiB2kebECXshNOuzxarijwC4K5_dYIVZN_WW3oStLrGGuUcXSr2dEERwm7Cn1x8ChvUouRvwuelc0GsqDvfXg7mNJ0KAUszNhTasLBlTOhuYwHA-lVPMiZLSYEqzC8w-zGajt5yBNFFtVWn/s1600/IMG_3519.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Then, on this counter you can see some pasta which I made out of fimo clay, and some of which I also packaged into some glass containers with the Italian flag colours around as decoration.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

Here I am, it's been a long time since I've last shown you my flowers shop. I've been slowly filling it with all sorts of flowers, ranging from ready bought wedding-favours-style ones, to the beautiful ones from Pascale Garnier. Well, ideally it'd be nice to have only handmade flowers in the shop; but as it'll take a long time to achieve that, and I don't want to see an empty shop during the next few years, I've had to use some quick fixes, right?!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So anyways, on with the pictures! I hope you'll enjoy them.</div>

It really means a lot to me! Thank you!<div>
Since I showed you a picture of my antiques shop in the previous post, I've decided it wouldn't do any harm to explore it a bit more.</div>
<div>
You can see here below a detail of the lamp which beautifully hangs from the ceiling. In the background of the same picture you can also see the armchair made by me ages ago! And also some shell decorations which I made inspired after a trip to the sea in southern Italy. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhFzM8lvxjJYJtLrIygXYA8S2bMrbpYnXM_OpeeN1X0kdkceu44SfpfhyphenhyphendCGg6MorDXi6H0QPE5XIPaEBA2odH1_HqacgBir99YZc7kZQ2-HorAMudJfosdRoEJ7gBujiJI9dRDFlmcrqPH/s1600/photo+1.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhFzM8lvxjJYJtLrIygXYA8S2bMrbpYnXM_OpeeN1X0kdkceu44SfpfhyphenhyphendCGg6MorDXi6H0QPE5XIPaEBA2odH1_HqacgBir99YZc7kZQ2-HorAMudJfosdRoEJ7gBujiJI9dRDFlmcrqPH/s1600/photo+1.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
In the second picture you can see some candelabras and art deco lights I made. And also a close up of the fake stone details. Made out of egg carton boxes, painted with some sand mixed into the acrylic. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEisJ1Id2aTuDTi-ymzdintCG3PyTcI-PapmE3WTySVCxIrrFnOTWSrWwm0UyP2ShcvZAT_-DEUPjoAFfH5G6wvpOZRaa8YX4dUB-mRcm_80sdplVSsD2cWNfdotjcSoyih7GHegUERm6yjW/s1600/photo+2.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEisJ1Id2aTuDTi-ymzdintCG3PyTcI-PapmE3WTySVCxIrrFnOTWSrWwm0UyP2ShcvZAT_-DEUPjoAFfH5G6wvpOZRaa8YX4dUB-mRcm_80sdplVSsD2cWNfdotjcSoyih7GHegUERm6yjW/s1600/photo+2.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Then a few details of what's on the table. Some tatted centrepieces, a shell box (again made after the sea trip), a doll under a dome, and much more. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhBjtZvaR7hj6LDyeDP-2DcwYJ16e1v_ZxRz8z5V64TGhIJvdTw97EjiIvutyO652zK3zvVJk2C5VLt_d-E28eXPqiYW2OCiVg3ZRRY0C5bOza-WZLuedn1LNBggJ8ijaTT4TLAdVijbXcz/s1600/photo+4.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhBjtZvaR7hj6LDyeDP-2DcwYJ16e1v_ZxRz8z5V64TGhIJvdTw97EjiIvutyO652zK3zvVJk2C5VLt_d-E28eXPqiYW2OCiVg3ZRRY0C5bOza-WZLuedn1LNBggJ8ijaTT4TLAdVijbXcz/s1600/photo+4.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
And just so you know, I made the stairs myself, using a wooden fan (well, maybe 3 fans), which I skilfully dismantled and cut into small pieces, following an online tutorial (sorry I can't remember which one). </div>
<div>
Well, I hope you've enjoyed this pics! See you soon with the next shop!</div>

Unfortunately right after my last post back in 2013 a lot of things happened in my life. I didn't have nor the time nor the willingness to share my passion on this blog. It got to a point where I thought I had hit the bottom. And nope, I went further down. I suffered some irreplaceable losses. I then somehow found some strength and got back on my feet, but it's been tough and long. Hence my silence on this blog.<br />
I will dare say that life has finally taken a positive turn, though many things still need shaping. If you get what I mean. After all 'homo faber fortunae suae ' .<br />
I've resumed works on the big mall. And I'm planning to show you in my future posts all the changes that have been going on.<br />
You'll have to forgive me for the quality of the pics that I will post, but I'm down to my phone.<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
As a teaser, I'll post one picture right now. For you to enjoy!<br />

She's been attempting to get inside the shops several times...Luckily the perspex panels were there to save me (and the miniatures of course!).<br />
<br />
Not to mention that every time I pull out my craft tools (miniature related and not), she comes there to keep a close eye on what I do, and she tries to help...<br />
<br />
Fimo...well...that's a different topic on its own, she loves the smell and taste (!!) of it. I've gotta be very careful every time I pull my clay out. I can't ever leave it unattended, or she'll eat it. No kidding.<br />
<br />
Anyways I thought you might enjoy these pics, fresh from last night. At least it gives me the opportunity to show you part of the structure of the shopping arcade. As you can see, it stands on two floors, on top of a massive wooden cube. You can see the top gallery to the top left, millinery shop to the top right. Turning around the corner (top floor) there's a haberdashery-shop-to-be, while right below you can kind of see the florist. Oh, yeah, you can also see where the patisserie is located.<br />
<br />
The structure has shops all around the 4 sides, in a way it's like Queen Mary's Doll House as you can walk all around it. One day I'll show you better pics of the whole shopping arcade. But for the time being enjoy these photos with my cat in action.<br />
<br />
Have a good weekend,<br />

Hello!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Just a quick update today on my flower shop. It's still far from being finished, but at least there's some flowers adding a bit of color :)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
There's some ugly looking flowers I made out of fimo years ago too, I'm keeping them as a memento tho. And then there are some plants made out of plastic fake stuff, and some proper flowers made out of english miniature kits too. But as you can see I possibly need a hundred more of these pots and vases, all filled with pretty flowers :)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
I hope you'll enjoy your weekend ahead!</div>

I so think these little elephants are so cute :) I made them out of a kit I bought at Miniatura last year. Don't ask me whose kit it is, as I've totally forgot already...erm...sorry! I fell in love with these elephants immediately, but somehow the kit I purchased to make them was left in a drawer for so long. Finally though my elephants have come to life, and I'm really happy about them, they're so cute :) They'll be a nice addition to my toys shop.</div>

Hello,</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Today I'm taking you on a tour of my unfinished grocery store, part of my shops arcade of course!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
As you can see, the grocery store is on two floors, with the second being a terrace where customers can seat and enjoy some delicatessen. But you'll just have to use your imagination for the time being :) What you see on the terrace at the moment is just pure clutter (things that I have to finish for the grocery shop...one day!). </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEicsM_5MvMxvNANKjlJuURcQvnOfZa3GZ1cwqon5xfSNlCmtyrfoX8z3nVY7Lo5oWkI_x6zpW-PUEIHtmrne_Pj6GiXOtRl9REzTUIzJcnawue_f2Rw9zqV3YFsCFKlBIitdeeda_iOWyTU/s1600/IMG_2129.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEicsM_5MvMxvNANKjlJuURcQvnOfZa3GZ1cwqon5xfSNlCmtyrfoX8z3nVY7Lo5oWkI_x6zpW-PUEIHtmrne_Pj6GiXOtRl9REzTUIzJcnawue_f2Rw9zqV3YFsCFKlBIitdeeda_iOWyTU/s320/IMG_2129.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Next is a close up of the arches in the shop. I've decorated them with some sheep (coming from a nativity scene package) and some shells (which I picked at the sea ages ago). </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjvC-ixuMWNdP1JSoUxcuTaRn6cYrFCIh0UqZEwV5eDA2wRJ9NTV274p4mTvc7lAoCM4ZVPSBW9LZsVWNAzZGC0gLZ9VRlmy0ppBOh1VKIDkHmY4W6cSJwTjslMRcYFVH1bUZgZjmBhF6qj/s1600/IMG_2130.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjvC-ixuMWNdP1JSoUxcuTaRn6cYrFCIh0UqZEwV5eDA2wRJ9NTV274p4mTvc7lAoCM4ZVPSBW9LZsVWNAzZGC0gLZ9VRlmy0ppBOh1VKIDkHmY4W6cSJwTjslMRcYFVH1bUZgZjmBhF6qj/s320/IMG_2130.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
From the pic here below you can clearly see the clutter on the terrace, ermmm....just pretend it's not there, ok?!</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjFNejuiGrC9MKK0kTo_fOCAbEQ_qPxtSmTcHK2VPdpFwuKDGiDUv02z1treeHeD7N_apaKu0ivY63behyphenhyphencm9Pwae_XTMDqw45lxaicWQt_UmqJYJMGTjwdXZaol2y_5hMQvzhapq3xa5Zt/s1600/IMG_2128.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjFNejuiGrC9MKK0kTo_fOCAbEQ_qPxtSmTcHK2VPdpFwuKDGiDUv02z1treeHeD7N_apaKu0ivY63behyphenhyphencm9Pwae_XTMDqw45lxaicWQt_UmqJYJMGTjwdXZaol2y_5hMQvzhapq3xa5Zt/s320/IMG_2128.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
And finally a close up of the shelf I made myself for the shop. Now all I have to do is make LOADS of grocery items so that I can stock up this shop!</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-FLOG8Z9pt1l_He1dq3sDyv9hr-knvfTIy6sVSP4EYWdOBjdHVHaurCDXlPNHrvp8k4cOtZ9ATtfOGfu5HOLvepqj49NRGtdz9KgjYqm4BW3xe_tdwoCPtrgFhSe616wZdMBoeoriFGAw/s1600/IMG_2131.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-FLOG8Z9pt1l_He1dq3sDyv9hr-knvfTIy6sVSP4EYWdOBjdHVHaurCDXlPNHrvp8k4cOtZ9ATtfOGfu5HOLvepqj49NRGtdz9KgjYqm4BW3xe_tdwoCPtrgFhSe616wZdMBoeoriFGAw/s320/IMG_2131.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
I apologize for the right mess in this shop, but at least you can see some work in progress ;)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
I hope you'll all have a lovely week ahead!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
xxx</div>

Recently the weather outside has been so uninviting that I've felt like spending cozy nights in, wrapped up in my warmest and softest blankets, with my feet being all nice and comfy in my slippers ;) </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
So...inspired by the season, I've made a few pairs of miniature slippers, all lined with fur! Which pair do you prefer? Confetti pink for the most romantic of you, or pale blue for the sporty one? Or how about some more traditional colours? ;)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
A good and warm day to you all!</div>

I can make something totally different from one day to the other. For example...no later than Sunday I was busy finishing off a patisserie counter and tables; now I'm taking a break from that, and I'm moving onto the florist' shop! This is my first attempt at lavender and at aging pots too. I'm sure that the technique can be improved, but I'm quite happy with the results for the time being, and I need to move on to other parts of the shopping centre! Aren't you just curious to see on which shop I'll be working next?! 'Cause I am, and I'm waiting for my next strike of inspiration tomorrow!<br />
Last but not least, a sincere thank you for the lovely comments on my previous post and for the warm welcome backs!!!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">Hugs :)</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><br />

A warm hello to all my readers which have been kind enough to wait for such a long time for a new post from me! I'm such a bad blogger...But the breaking of my camera didn't help either! </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I'm sure someone out there might be wondering what are the progresses of my shopping mall, so I thought I'd share with you the latest pics :)</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I'll start off today from the patisserie.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So here's a closeup of the main counter which I built and decorated myself. The front panel is actually a dollhouse door which I found about 10 years ago amongst theatre broken props. Yes, the front panel has actually had the honor of staging in the Annie musical!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
On the counter there's loads of mini bottles which I found in a Chinese local shop. I'm just not sure about the caps...how should I substitute them???? I don't like them at the moment, so any ideas are welcomed!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiyRzKBQZBfS7VSf50t0FvwjbXPMQR6uaIIVK7jVo_nLWNUyk8xcPcniPWcN3YtYhidubYWggwgLSppYQDnGXNnG3kg-pwivz2Rf4HhfdOSdMnGa2id1ZWdf_imqI1JEfbN9jmbJuBkYGeF/s1600/IMG_2125.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiyRzKBQZBfS7VSf50t0FvwjbXPMQR6uaIIVK7jVo_nLWNUyk8xcPcniPWcN3YtYhidubYWggwgLSppYQDnGXNnG3kg-pwivz2Rf4HhfdOSdMnGa2id1ZWdf_imqI1JEfbN9jmbJuBkYGeF/s320/IMG_2125.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Here's a view of the entire patisserie..</div>

<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
And finally I've made 6 of these tables. I still have to put some tablecloths over them, and build the chairs, but so far so good. There is progress in the patisserie!</div>

This miniature lady is modeling my very first wig. Yep, I'm using this head just to model the wigs. (The hair that you see can actually be taken off the head, and put on a hat stand).</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
My idea is to have a few wigs on display in one of my many shops of the shopping centre. Eventually, once I'll have enough wigs, I'll redress (yes, come on, the dress of this doll is absolutely ugly) and re-do the hair of this lady, but for the time being she'll have to be very patient with me and let me experiment with viscose.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Viscose is one of the messiest materials I've worked with so far. After a whole morning of wigging, and after a thorough clean up of my place, I'm still picking up viscose bits here and there. Quite frankly I'm not a big fan of sticky fingers with sticky viscose on, and viscose flying around the place, landing everywhere. But hey, I like the result, so I'll keep making some more wigs!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Here you can see some pics of the wig, I hope you'll enjoy seeing them!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">

Hello! As you can see, the construction works have been interrupted again in order to leave room to some accessories making -which is my favorite part!-</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
I have been wanting to make miniature shoes for ages, but I've always been too shy to attempt it. But this time I decided that I HAD to try it....So there you go, my very first 5 pairs of shoes!!!! Ta da!!!!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Even though they're imperfect in many ways, I still love them, and I think that they will look cute in my women's fashion boutique, paired with some lovely dresses (yet to be sewn of course, you know it'll take me a while to even get to that!).</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Of course now that I've started to make miniature shoes, I have plenty more leather colors and fabrics that I want to experiment, mix and match with different styles, and so on. I think this might be like with the hats...After I made the first hat I HAD to make more, it was so addictive.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Well, I'll leave you with these pics for the time being, and I'll go back to more shoes making :)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Enjoy xx</div>

And...continuing with the series 'slowly but steadily', here's the works that have been going on in the patisserie shop!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
The patisserie will be on two floors, the lower one with counters full of cakes and individual desserts, and the top floor with tables where customers can sit and enjoy a cup of tea with something sweet to compliment it.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
As you can see from the pics, there's still loads to be done. The counters are still missing, and the only 3 bits of furniture that you see for the time being is just to give an idea of the colour scheme; Pastel pink and green for the walls, and deep dark brown furniture for some added contrast. Remember that my setting is the late 1800s, early 1900s!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEigg34E_BOuEy7ONuQsPnHCGJPW6ITv2KeTjVpw9xtVQKDaU1CGMwSEP-dA08buvCFd9U6MIE599yFiPoSDr4xUc1iAQbduTGGK5B7_DI3nhetUiDRrfLQKRPaQuYLuRzPvwSeViDiAlCbs/s1600/IMG_1004.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEigg34E_BOuEy7ONuQsPnHCGJPW6ITv2KeTjVpw9xtVQKDaU1CGMwSEP-dA08buvCFd9U6MIE599yFiPoSDr4xUc1iAQbduTGGK5B7_DI3nhetUiDRrfLQKRPaQuYLuRzPvwSeViDiAlCbs/s320/IMG_1004.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
As you can see from the closeup, there's still lot to be done to the balcony, there's still metal trimmings missing to cover up the front bits, plants to be put along the railings, and so on......</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_UKYcjpCGYvou-7lebu1UOMvlymawUCS3ihIOchWXcuMuz7ToHMBL4t529rcUKzYwaKDd-nvYP5EReROY1VezO4Z67FS-WzLp4XgGdbQDPo-fXg98wFIgn2uBEw3BqMnErGUXd81ZPsBi/s1600/IMG_1005.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_UKYcjpCGYvou-7lebu1UOMvlymawUCS3ihIOchWXcuMuz7ToHMBL4t529rcUKzYwaKDd-nvYP5EReROY1VezO4Z67FS-WzLp4XgGdbQDPo-fXg98wFIgn2uBEw3BqMnErGUXd81ZPsBi/s320/IMG_1005.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
And here's another bit to show you the fake red marble in contrast with the wooden columns, and the hand made floor (yep, another one!). A lot of wall lights are installed, just think what they'll all look like once they're lit! And of course the main central chandelier is still waiting patiently in a box to take its place. </div>
<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
I hope you've enjoyed to see the progress in my shopping centre, and I hope that you'll forgive my lack of posts in the past few weeks. Unfortunately this is a very busy period for me, and I haven't been able to devote to minis as much time as I would have liked to. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Enjoy your weekend ahead!</div>

Here we are! I've been working a lot lately, and I have a lot of structural work to show you...if only I'd grab my camera and snap some good pics...So, in the meantime, something more fun than structures. I've been wanting pull along toys for a very long time, but due to their price (especially because in a toy shop I needed more than one!) I've always postponed my purchase. In the end last week I went and bought some material and made the toys myself. What do you think? I've found that they're very addictive to make, and now I've got many more ideas for them. In fact I've already gone to buy some more plastic animals. I'm now waiting for the wheels so that I can go ahead and design more pull alongs :) Which one is your favorite so far?!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Hugs!</div>

Hello, hello! I have been very busy, but I've managed to make a few things for my shopping centre....For example...I built the massive shelf that is featured in pics 1&2. Yes, I'm so proud of it, I still can't believe I made it all myself. It is quite a simple structure to design, but to get all those shelves right....well, that's another story! Anyways, here it is, all finished. Initially I was going to paint it in a nice colour; but after finishing the whole thing, I actually thought It looked nice in its natural shade. So what do you think? Also, as you can see, there's going to be some sort of balcony in the shop. Notice all the tiles?? All individually cut, sand, and painted :/ </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
I'm afraid you will have to be very patient with me, if you want to see the progresses of this shop? So, any other ideas on what this shop is going to sell?????</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
While here you can see my cat inspecting the works on a ceiling I was meant to do ages ago. It is going to be the ceiling of the ground floor hallway. It is going to have a bit of a vault shape, as you can see from the pic. The problem with this ceiling is that I couldn't come up with the decoration of it. I simply didn't have any ideas. Till one day I was browsing through old FMR magazines....and ta da! Found the perfect thing! Went to a photocopy centre, had the magazine scanned and enlarged, and now my ceiling doesn't look like plain wood sheet anymore. I still need to do something to the ceiling, so that it doesn't look like a plain photocopy stuck onto it, but hopefully it's not going to take me another 2 years. Yeah, this is the time it took me to find the right decorations!</div>

As promised, though slowly, I'm getting back on track and making new minis. This week has seen me moving plants around in the vases, really. The Hortensia is made of precut scrapbooking flowers which I found ages ago in a DIY shop. The wooden vase still needs some aging, but this is going to happen hopefully in the next week....yes...because something else is being built (as I usual, I can't stop myself from working at different projects at the same time!).</div>

<br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">first of all I wanted to thank you for your constant support and encouraging words. It's really joyful to know that, no matter how many months I've spent away from blogland, my readers are still interested to hear what I've been up to. Please forgive me if I haven't left any comments on your blogs yet, but I've fallen a bit behind with what everyone else has been up to, and it's going to take me a while to make up for it. Apologies :)</div><div style="text-align: justify;">And now, as promised, please let me show you what I've been up to recently!</div><div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Someone might remember I was trying to build a florist's shop; well, I've finally made it! It's inspired by greenhouses and conservatories, and the idea is to make ALOT of plants to hang off the balcony and partially cover it. In the middle of the floor there will be plenty of shelves on which of course you'll find pots, vases, flowers, gardening tools and so on. But I wonder how long it'll take me to accomplish all this!</div><div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div><img src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjw2uBYZGRPCNF1PVdHgTcaW_Uy5wdic4da6Sm6Kf4HwTVS5cq3zo99SCO3dwppZFHnGwAyPczhaSaO6iHBFJRB0n3nBn-a8wOR1nTJfZthebPKGSsy9bTBC3JrGq_xVebmONDrUp0OF1Ay/s400/DSCN0195.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5648932006656868498" style="display: block; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: auto; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 300px; height: 400px; " /><img src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgiH_g7aHHsR7O88qGQsFiDgANbsUuvTzEoRK3wPmaVPMSHK2oisutjwkX0D8db65zs1ooDgWUBg-P119cRyu_2fbzGILXekqCfOV3yWNiiZgmiMPdU0jk5l4PVvnafjjzAV5TNl4aLZ3cS/s400/DSCN0196.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5648932013535398002" style="display: block; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: auto; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 300px; height: 400px; " /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjw2uBYZGRPCNF1PVdHgTcaW_Uy5wdic4da6Sm6Kf4HwTVS5cq3zo99SCO3dwppZFHnGwAyPczhaSaO6iHBFJRB0n3nBn-a8wOR1nTJfZthebPKGSsy9bTBC3JrGq_xVebmONDrUp0OF1Ay/s1600/DSCN0195.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjw2uBYZGRPCNF1PVdHgTcaW_Uy5wdic4da6Sm6Kf4HwTVS5cq3zo99SCO3dwppZFHnGwAyPczhaSaO6iHBFJRB0n3nBn-a8wOR1nTJfZthebPKGSsy9bTBC3JrGq_xVebmONDrUp0OF1Ay/s1600/DSCN0195.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"></a><img src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgwUj1BaMoNVDs8AO6-8pjZuPuY7yJAlbNpxOBOnIVIIgWX8mizd4zWyuuDXaA1RjMVKAGdrhV_hA5YJHP4SPyXiOsZQNvjLsBoVvjGmmG4niux-R0M10Y7fhCnpZ5wRqWkapWxZshcEUlP/s400/DSCN0193.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5648932005151244370" style="display: block; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: auto; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 300px; height: 400px; " /><div><div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">And then of course I couldn't ignore my haberdashery. I've collected the raw furniture that will go into that shop, but I haven't started decorating it yet. What I've made though is a dozen of teeny tiny boxes, each and everyone with an assortment of embroidery threads in it. Yes, believe my word, there's tiny reels in EACH box. Just forgive me if I didn't open all the boxes to show you all my crazy work :)</div><div style="text-align: justify;">

It is quite sad, really, I've left all my readers without a new post for a couple months. It's not like in the meantime I haven't been making any minis; to be fair, I've made just a few, as I've had some awfully busy times. But I'm back, and I promise I'll take some pics of my last works very very soon, and I'll show you what I've been up to. And maybe we can all celebrate with a tiny giveaway?<div>Hugs</div>Case di Bambolahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07863761196367027463noreply@blogger.com7tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7540343817443361218.post-72967709738443350952011-04-16T11:55:00.002+02:002011-04-16T11:59:07.336+02:00A bag<div style="text-align: justify;">This is my last creation!
